- The need
- Testing whether blocking TNF-alpha, an inflammatory signal implicated in inner-ear damage, changes tinnitus. The trial studies tinnitus associated with blast or noise exposure, or with a provider-diagnosed traumatic brain injury or concussion.
- Afterwards
- Recruiting as of 16 August 2026 at Wayne State University (Detroit) and the Michigan Ear Institute (Farmington Hills), Michigan, and at AdventHealth (Celebration) and the University of Miami, Florida. Making the enquiry takes a few minutes; taking part, if the team judges you eligible, means weekly injections for 12 weeks and a four-week washout from other tinnitus treatments beforehand.
Goes to the study team at tinnitustrial@wayne.edu. Nothing is sent from here — you send it yourself.

How this is counted
A draft or opened destination is not counted. The action is added to progress only when you tell us you sent, submitted, gave or completed it.
Action counts are self-reported. They show coordinated activity, not independently verified impact.
For this action, that moment is: You tell us you sent it.
