Contact a study team

Contact the B-SILENT pulsatile tinnitus study (Canada and France)

Review the official trial record and contact a currently recruiting site about the B-SILENT study. This enquiry concerns severe pulse-synchronous tinnitus associated with a clinically confirmed narrowing of a cerebral venous sinus.

Before you go

Available in
Canada, France

Cost
No payment required
Commitment afterwards
The first enquiry does not commit you to a procedure. Participation would involve specialist screening, an invasive vascular intervention and follow-up visits. Confirm the current site, full risks, schedule and any costs with the study team.

Important to know. The registry lists adults aged 18–80 with severe pulse-synchronous tinnitus, confirmed venous sinus stenosis and additional clinical criteria. This is an invasive stent-implantation study. Recruiting sites are listed in Ottawa, Toronto, Bordeaux, Montpellier and Tours; Paris is not yet recruiting. Only the study team can assess eligibility and explain risks, costs and consent. An enquiry is not enrolment, and no personal benefit is promised. Tinnitus Action is independent and does not receive your enquiry or health information.

How this was verified

Checked against the current official trial-registry record

We checked this against the current official trial-registry record and link to it below. That is our check, not their endorsement.

Review this study and contact the team if it looks relevant to you. Only the study team decides who can take part — we make no judgement about that, and we never ask you anything about your health.

Pause for editorial review if recruitment closes, the study contact no longer accepts enquiries, or the participation route becomes unavailable.
